Shape Monsters

Kindergartens traced, cut, and glued a circle, a square, and a triangle on their background paper.  Then students glued on legs, eyes, mouths, and teeth.  To complete their monsters they drew details such as eyeballs, eyelashes, and even mustaches.

Hand Print Bats

2nd grade started their bat project by first watching an educational video about bats.  Then students traced and cut out their hand shapes for the bat wings.  They chose a face/body color and added facial features.  Then they added ears and glued everything together including a decorated popsicle stick to hold when making their bats “fly”.
