3rd grade first created a practice drawing of a cardinal bird sitting on a tree branch. Then students redrew the image on larger paper and used three different mediums to complete their project. Marker for the branches, crayon for the background and parts of the bird, and red paint for the male cardinal feathers and red berries in the tree.
