Illustrated Poems

5th grade students were given four poems to illustrate.

Stores

2nd grade discussed different types of stores within our community, and then drew a store of their choice.

 

 

 

Winter Trees

Kindergarten assembled Winter Trees by first drawing straight and wavy lines on green paper, cutting out triangle shapes, gluing them onto a snowy hill, then painting white dots to complete their project.

 

 

Cut Snowflakes

4th grade students used coffee filters to fold and cut snowflakes.

 

 

 

Reindeer

4th grade drew a reindeer using the illusion of space with one antler inside the window, while the other is still out. Then students used brown color values on their reindeer and used contrasting light and dark values for their background.
