Celebrating Veterans Day

Lusher Elementary celebrated Veterans Day with a school wide assembly in our gym.  PreK students glued together red, white, and blue hearts.  Kindergarten and 1st graders assembled American Flags, and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades created signs or cards.

Comparing Pizza Drawing Videos

5th graders compared two different styles of drawing videos.  First students voted to draw either hamburgers or pizzas… the pizza won the vote for all three 5th grade classes!  Then students watched, followed directions, and completed two different pizza drawings comparing the video styles from Muffalo Potato and Art for Kids Hub.
