Warm/Cool Landscapes

Third graders explored and applied warm and cool colors in their landscape drawings.

 

 

 

 

Crayons

Kindergarteners learned about primary and secondary colors. 

 

They then colored and cut out a crayon for each color.

 

 

Landscape Drawings

Second graders identified and discussed the foreground, middle ground, and background in various landscape images. Afterward, they created and colored their own landscape drawings.

 

 

Mondrian Art

1st grade Piet Mondrian inspired artwork

Mouse Paint

Second graders reviewed primary and secondary colors and then completed a mouse-themed project inspired by Ellen Walsh's book, Mouse Paint.
