Mitten & Snowflakes

2nd grade created a colorful pattern mitten by separating it into seven sections, and drawing different letters, numbers, lines, and shapes in each section. Then, before students cut and glued down their mitten, they used a white colored pencil to draw snowflakes on a background paper.

Drawing Prompt

4th grade completed a quick drawing prompt activity by first tracing a circle and drawing a rectangular base for a snow globe. Then students had five minutes to sketch a birthday party inside the globe. The goal was to use details and creativity, not to over think or worry about having the best drawing.
