1st graders created a crayon resistant art project by first tracing a flower shape and circles. Then students colored in those shapes making sure to fill the area in solid, not scribble. To see how well they colored, students then brushed a watered-down paint over their entire paper, sponging off the excess afterwards.

Ladybugs
Kindergarten created ladybugs on grass by first gluing down strips of green construction paper. Then they traced, cut out and glued on red circles for the ladybug bodies. Finally black heads, antennas, and spots were painted on to complete their project.

Pattern Bunny
3rd and 4th grade students created a pattern bunny before spring weekend break. First students watched an educational video showing different facts about rabbits and their lifestyle. Then they followed along to draw a bunny, leaving space inside the ears and stomach for a pattern design.

Bunnies
KG, 1st, and 2nd grade students watched a video of the book It's Not Easy Being a Bunny by Marilyn Sadler. Then we discussed and identified the difference between a rabbit and a hare. Students then followed along to draw a rabbit and something for their rabbit to eat. Then we got silly and dressed our rabbits up in different outfits!

Ugly Bunny
5th graders designed an Ugly “Bunny” based off the Ugly Dolls characters. Then students chose two paint colors they used to mixed together and paint. Additional details were drawn, bunny shapes were outlined, and then cut out to complete their project.
